Thai Navy escorts sea turtles to the sea

How many Navy captains sound like this chap?
Because humans destroy nature, natural conservation practices should begin with humans. Humans have to revive the deteriorated nature by themselves as humans were the main cause.”
The source of those words, Capt. Winai Klom of the Royal Thai Navy, is leading a task force of sailors protecting green sea turtles on Khram Island. They dig up the tender eggs, move them closer to the water, feed, medicate, clean them, and then guard them from predators (primarily the human sort) on their march to the sea. It’s a fine use for a navy, and what a fine world it would be if navies only had such uses.

There’s also a longer video featuring a brief interview with Capt. Klom at New Tang Dynasty TV.
